How do I reheat the pies?

Traditional or Toaster Oven (for crispier results): Remove plastic lid. Cover pie lightly with foil and place in oven at 375°F for approximately 20* min (Large); 15* min (Medium); 7* min (Small).

* Heating time may vary depending on your oven

Microwave Oven (Recommended for a soft crust): Remove pie from the baking pan foil and discard plastic lid. Place pie on microave-safe dish. Heat for 3 to 4 mins.

How can I remove the pie from its original packaging to my own serving plate?

Using scisors make 4 or 5 cuts from the edge to the bottom of the foil. Fold down these sections until you can slide the pie freely onto you favorite plate.

Please be careful during this procedure avoid contat with hot surfaces.

Can I Freeze the Pie?

Yes, you can freeze backed pies or your pie leftovers.

To freeze your baked pie, make sure it cools down completely before you start the process. Then, wrap pie (in pan) tightly in plastic wrap. Place in freezer-style resealable plastic bag. You can freeze up to 4 months. When you are ready to serve, thaw in refrigerator. Reheat according to our reheating instructions above.

How long does it take between placing and receiving my pie order?

Our products are made fresh and this is one of the key factors that make our pies so delicious and unique. That being said, we usually suggest our clients to place their orders at least one day in advance.

Deliveries occur twice daily (around 12 PM and around 6 PM). We will do our best to accommodate your requests but it is always better to plan ahead.

How long can I keep the pie(s) in the refrigerator?

We recommend you keep your pie(s) in the refrigerator no longer than two or three days. Reaheating instructions as per above.

I have a special event coming up. Can you create a special pie design?

Absolutely! However, the earlier we start planning your project, the better your chances of achieving success.

Please note that removing or adding items to a pie order will also categorize it as a Special Order. Thus, pricing and delivery time will vary. But don't worry; just contact us and we can talk about your special order.

Can I subscribe to your mailing list and receive coupons and news?

Can you ship my order?

We do not ship Pies as they may lose their unique features when exposed to temperature and humidity variation. They may even become unfit for consumption. Also, the structural integrity of the pie may be compromised during transportation.

We will continue to study and review potential alternative to expand our delivery options. If you subscribe to our mailing list and stay tuned we promise to keep you informed as we come up with new alternatives. Until then feel free to contact us and we will evaluate your delivery needs.

Do you offer glutten-free, vegan, or organic pies?

At this time we do not offer gluten-free, vegan or organic pies. However, we always try new recipes, flavors, and styles in order to attend our clients' requests.

Is The Pie Inc. a Cottage Food Operation?

Yes. A Cottage Food Operation means a person who produces or packages cottage food products at his or her residence and sells such products in accordance with Section 500.80, Florida Statutes.

By law we are supposed to state clearly that our products are MADE IN A COTTAGE FOOD OPERATION THAT IS NOT SUBJECT TO FLORIDA’S FOOD SAFETY REGULATIONS
